Parent’s Teaching Resource Book - Vol 1 – This highly practical teaching guide will help you teach your children aged 5 - 7 fundamental money skills.

This resource book is the first in a series of three, providing you with money teaching tips, activities and games to develop your child’s financial literacy skills. This guide includes 12 activities and 2 games to make the learning fun. To help you the parent we have included instruction guides for each activity and also provided the key learning outcomes. These will provide you with an understanding of what you can expect they will learn. .

Through twelve activities, you can help your child identify:

- what money is and what it does,
- what money looks like,
- the value of money,
- how to use money,
- how to earn money,
- how many little coins make up a big coin and
- how to count money.

In addition to the activities, there are two games included. These are highly interactive and will help ensure that your child has lots of fun while they are learning!

To top it all off we have also included two colour Merit Certificates for you to present to your child as they progress through the book.

Parent’s Teaching Resource Book - Vol 2 – This highly practical teaching guide will help you teach your children aged 8 - 10 fundamental money skills.

Resource Book Two in this series of three continues to provide you with money teaching tips, 12 activities and 2 games to develop your child’s financial literacy skills. Again, each activity comes with teaching tips and learning outcomes to help you guide your growing child towards a greater understanding of key ideas and concepts about money.

In this second volume, you can help your child:

- learn the differences between needs and wants,
- think of various ways to earn money,
- learn to earn agreed amounts of pocket money through chores,
- learn about rounding and calculating change,
- devise a savings and spending strategy,
- understand ATM's and
- develop skills to calculate complex change.

Again, two games are included to help ensure that your child has some extra fun while they are developing their money skills!

Parent’s Teaching Resource Book – Vol 3 – This highly practical teaching guide will help you teach your children aged 11 - 12 fundamental money skills. 

Resource Book Three again provides you with money teaching tips, 12 activities and 2 games to develop your child’s financial literacy skills.

In this last book of the series, activities become much more advanced, matching your child’s growing ability to understand more complex concepts.

Teaching tips and ideas are provided for each activity with learning outcomes to help you guide your child through a wide range of money topics.

Here, you can help your child:

- develop their budgeting skills,
- how to split purchases, calculate interest,
- track shares in the stock market 
- evaluate alternative fundraising models for a charity.
- explore and evaluate banking alternatives and
- compare prices for similar items when shopping.

There is also a fun game of trivia and a party budgeting game included, allowing your child to practice their learning with some fun!
